Loose Ends, Long Goodbyes is inspired by the late ’90s and early-2000s pop-punk I grew up on.

My Idaho hometown didn’t (and still doesn’t) have a stoplight. In driver’s ed, we drove fifty miles to the next town over just to practice. The nearest place you could find music that wasn’t country was hours away. Discovering punk music blew my mind. You shared bands and burned CDs like maps to buried treasure.

Life since then has taken me a lot of places. My tastes have widened, but my heart never left the scene. This project is my way to recapture what made that music so special: the energy, the honesty, and the sense that you’re not the only one feeling what you’re feeling.
